The Riot Act, A One-Night Show With Billy Bragg on 5/29

 

The Labor Education Program at the School of Labor and Employment Relations, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign presents the The Riot Act, a One-Night Show with Billy Bragg. This exclusive event is for Brother and Sister Union Members with a live performance by Billy Bragg, an award winning UK singer, songwriter, musician, author and political activist.

His music blends elements of folk music, punk rock, and protest songs. The concert will take place on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150 Union Hall. Doors open at 6 PM; Billy Bragg will take the stage at 7 PM for a 90-minute set.

Tickets: General Admission Tickets are $20 each (plus fees, must be purchased online)
IOUE Local 150 Members are free (registration required)

Tickets are $20 each (plus credit card fees).

Everyone must have a ticket to enter the Hall. This event is exclusive to Union Members. When purchasing your ticket, you must enter your Union and Reg No. 

IUOE Local 150 Members are free, and limited to two tickets. IUOE Local 150 will be reviewing Member names and numbers prior to the concert to ensure all members are active. Member lists will be verified that Local 150 members are current and in good standing.
