The Operators’ Health Center (OHC) is highlighting Diabetes Awareness for the month of November.  Nearly 30 million children and adults in the U.S have diabetes.  Diabetes increases risk for many serious health problems, is the leading cause of kidney failure and is a major cause of heart disease and stroke.

Diabetes symptoms can include:

| Frequent urination | Unusual thirst | Extreme hunger | Frequent/recurring infections |

| Blurred Vision | Cuts/bruises slow to heal | Numbness in hands/feet |
