Why ERS?

The counselors at ERS are Masters level licensed mental health professionals

The clinicians have extensive experience helping people with their issues

ERS counselors will work with you or your family members, either over the phone or in person when possible, to identify and evaluate your concerns.

Through the MAP, members and their families can receive up to five FREE counseling sessions per incident; there is no cost to you for these initial five sessions.

If the ERS counselor believes an issue cannot be addressed in five sessions or if a more intensive level of care is required, you or your dependent will be referred to an in network licensed clinician to get the services you need to treat your problem. The cost of additional services to treat your problem, beyond the initial MAP sessions, will be adjudicated based on your medical plan.

    • For additional managed mental health and substance abuse services and to initiate a precertification, you can contact Valenz, the Welfare Fund’s current Case Manager, at (855) 298-0493.  Click here for more information about Valenz.

What additional programs are offered through ERS?
