Important Message: Union Halls to Close; District Meetings Postponed Indefinitely

Brothers and Sisters,

We remain focused on the safety of our membership during the COVID-19 pandemic. In accordance with state and federal mandates regarding large gatherings, we are continuing to evaluate our operations with safety and service to our membership at the forefront of our considerations.

  • Effective 4/3 at 5:00 p.m., in an effort to protect the health and safety of our staff and members, our District Halls will be closed to members and visitors. Our dispatchers and various staff will continue to work in the office, and this closure is to ensure that they are able to do so in maximum adherence to social distancing recommendations and mandates on public gatherings. You may contact our District Halls by phone. Dispatch offices remain in service. Dues can be paid by mail, online via my150.com, or over the phone with a credit or debit card. If you have an issue at work, contact your Business Agent directly or contact your District Hall to be put in contact with them.
  • At this time, Benefit Fund offices, Operators’ Health Center, and Midwest Coalition of Labor Credit Union will remain open. During this uncertain time, we are committed to providing members with uninterrupted service. Our responsibilities to dispatch members, provide access to Credit Union funds, pay medical claims and mail pension checks remain unchanged in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, and as the situation unfolds, we will work to ensure that these vital operations are not impacted. If you have symptoms of any illness or have been in contact with anyone who is suspected or confirmed to be infected with COVID-19, please do not visit any of these facilities.
  • Monthly District union meetings will be postponed indefinitely. The International Union has issued guidance to postpone all meetings in accordance with state and federal mandates on large gatherings. We will provide additional information on the resumption of District meetings as it becomes available.

Whether or not you are working, please take steps to protect yourself from the spread of COVID-19. Please consult the CDC website for information on symptoms and ways to stay healthy.

We will continue to provide information via email, on www.Local150.org, and on our Facebook page. Please share this email with other members and encourage them to sign up for email alerts by providing their contact information at www.my150.com.

In Solidarity,

James M. Sweeney
