After extending the deadline several times over the past 6 years, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has announced that the final deadline to have a nationally-recognized crane certification is December 9, 2018.
Local 150 offers members the opportunity to test for the Operating Engineers Certification Program (OECP) certification, which is recognized and in compliance with the OSHA requirements.
All members operating cranes should obtain their OECP certification before the deadline. To schedule written or practical testing, members can call the Training Center at (815) 722-3201.
