2026 – Projected Completion Date
When the project is completed in 2026, the IUOE Local 150 District 8 Union Hall, located on a 14-acre site, will be the first Union Hall in the entire country fully constructed from Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) and Glulam columns and beams. The eco-friendly features of the new center demonstrate Local 150’s dedication towards their membership, the communities in District 8, and responsible development in working to provide a greener future for the people of Illinois and Iowa. This new Union Hall will also be home to an MCL Health Center, which is much-needed for Local 150 members in the area.
