We are experiencing technical difficulties with the I-Remit Portal, which is displaying the “Prior Months Missing” message when entering the January 2026 contribution reports. New I-Remit Portal Feature: Make Miscellaneous Payments
We’re pleased to announce a new feature on the I-Remit Portal—Miscellaneous Payments—now available under Remittance Reporting on the I-Remit Portal main menu.
So, what is Miscellaneous Payments used for? It allows Employers to pay NSF fees, pay courier fees, and use a credit(s) if one is on file.
Employers who choose not to utilize the ACH payment method on the I-Remit Portal and instead remit payments by check must send them via a secure courier service—such as United Parcel Service (UPS) or DHL—to avoid a $250 fee per check, regardless of how many checks are included in one envelope.
