Walk with Local 150 in Labor Day Parades
This Labor Day weekend, IUOE Local 150 will be participating in several parades. You are invited to join with you family and walk with Local 150. Please join us at the Lemont Keepataw Parade and Fun Fest Elkhart Parade, the Blueberry Parade, the Lowell Parade, the Burlington Labor Day Picnic, or the East Moline Parade. DISTRICT 1
Chicago Federation of Labor Labor Day Parade and Eddie Fest
Saturday, 9/5/26
Parade starts at 11:00 a.m. The parade route will tentatively begin at 112th Street and Avenue F on Chicago’s South Side. The parade will head north on Ewing Avenue to 106th Street, where the parade will end. Eddie Fest will follow at noon. https://www.chicagolaborparade.com/

Staging Instructions:
The parade will step off at 11:00 AM on E 112th Street and S Ave F on Chicago’s Southeast Side. Parade staging will occur at 3869 E 112th St, on E 112th between State Line Road and S Ave F. See the embedded map for more information.
*Street parking will be extremely limited near the staging area, and we encourage all participants to park at Steelworkers Park (8700 S Lake Shore Drive) and take advantage of free shuttle buses to the parade staging area and return trips from the parade disband area. More information below*
All vehicle entries should enter the staging area at S State Line Road and E 112th St, by traveling south on S State Line Rd or west on E 112th St. A staff person will check in all entries at that intersection.
The staging area will open to vehicle entries at 9:30 AM and closes promptly at 10:30 AM on the day of the parade. Vehicle entries arriving after 10:30 AM may not be eligible to participate.
Lemont Keepataw Day Parade and Fun Fest
Sunday, 9/6/26
Parade – 12:00 P.M. (Line Up), 1:00 P.M. (Parade Step Off)
The parade lineup will start at 11:30 am on Sunday, September 6. All participants should be in the lineup by 12:30 pm. The parade will kick off at 1 pm.
The heavy equipment vehicles will stage in the same area as last year on the interior road between the Lemont VFW and the Lemont Fire Department. At 12:45 pm, the vehicles will move to Main St. to wait to be merged into the parade.

Shuttle service will begin at 7:15 a.m. from Oak Hill Elementary, 425 S. Nichols Ave. Parking is available off Oakley Avenue. The last shuttle will depart at 9:45 a.m. Please remember that Route 2 closes at 9:00 a.m. — be at your staging location before that time. Parking in the staging areas is not permitted, PARADE VEHICLES ONLY!
