The Fund Office would like to send a huge thanks to all the members & their families that made Open Enrollment a huge success!

Attendance at this year’s Open Enrollment events more than doubled from previous years. We love to see members taking an active role in their healthcare. So, what happens after Open Enrollment? The Fund Office utilizes the time frame after Open Enrollment through March 31, the end of the current Plan Year, as an “administrative period”.  During this time, all the administrative work is taking place such as new Healthcare and Vendor cards being mailed to members that changed plans during Open Enrollment, reviewing of required information such as Marriage Certificates and Social Security Cards to add dependents to member’s health plan option amongst other things.

As a reminder, the health plan option coverage you selected during Open Enrollment begins April 1, 2024. If you changed plans during Open Enrollment, you will receive new Healthcare and Vendor cards associated with your new plan effective April 1, 2024. Please be sure to give a copy of your new Healthcare card to each of your providers.

If you have any questions regarding your health plan option coverage, please contact Member Services at (708) 579-6600.

Who Will Receive New Healthcare Cards?

  • If you selected the same health plan option for the upcoming Plan Year, you will not receive new Healthcare cards
  • If you changed plans during Open Enrollment, you will receive new Healthcare and Vendor cards associated with your new plan effective April 1, 2024. Please be sure to give a copy of your new Healthcare card to each of your providers.
  • If you are currently enrolled in the Bronze plan and selected a health plan outside of Bronze for the upcoming Plan Year, you will receive a new Healthcare and Vendor card. Please also note that moving out of the Bronze plan means that you will have Dental coverage, Short-Term Disability, and Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage.  Please refer to your Schedule of Benefits for more information.
